Adams: Women Have ‘Right’ to Abortions Up Until Day of birth

May 16, 2022

Saturday on Twitter, New York City Mayor Eric Adams slammed the pro-life movement as “radical” and pledged that he would “fight” to ensure there are “no” limitations on abortion.

“Abortion is health care. It’s that simple,”Adams tweeted Saturday using the hashtag “BansOffOurBodies.”

Fact check: abortion is not health care. It’s that simple. Abortion has nothing to do with health care. It is about putting an inconvenient unborn human to death.

“And New York City won’t let a group of radical extremists take away health care or any human right without a fight,” he added.

Adams attended a pro-choice protest in New York City on Saturday where he responded “No I do not” when asked whether there should be any limitations on abortion.

“I think women should have the right to choose their bodies,” Adams said when pressed again about abortions up until the moment of birth. “Men should not have that right to choose how a woman should treat their body.”

Fact check: no one, much less “men,” is choosing what women can do with their own bodies. Both men and women oppose the abortion of a human child, which is a person in its own right independent of the mother’s body.

This is where we are in American now: an entire political party supporting infanticide up to the moment it enters the birth canal, and yet calling their pro-life opponents “radical extremists.”
