During her post-election concession speech Tuesday night, perennial loser and voter fraud enthusiast Stacey Abrams compared her gubernatorial defeat in Georgia to the sufferings of the early Christian church.
“I am too reminded of what scripture tells us,” the deluded power-monger said, quoting from 2 Corinthians. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. We are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted but not forsaken. Cast down, but not destroyed.
“I know the results are what we hoped for tonight, and I understand that you are hurting and you were disappointed I am too,” she continued. “We may not have made it to the finish line, but we ran that race, and we know this path. And we know that running is what matters. That standing is what matters. That defending is what matters,” she added.
As Breitbart News notes, “Abrams conveniently left out the first portion of 2 Corinthians 4, which talks about the light of the gospel and how it cannot be shaken or tampered with.”
