During a Labor Day parade in Brooklyn on Monday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) was caught on video responding “The sooner the better” to a bystander’s question about when President Trump would be impeached.
Like most other party leaders, Schumer has tended to avoid discussing impeachment for fear of alienating moderate voters ahead of November’s midterm elections.
