In 2011 DiAngelo co-authored the book Is Everyone Really Equal? An Introduction to Key Concepts in Social Justice Education. In 2012 she authored What Does it Mean to be White?: Developing White Racial Literacy. In the latter book, DiAngelo describes how race shapes the lives of white people and blinds them to their own inherent racism.
