Arsalan Tariq Iftikhar is the director of legal affairs for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a radical group disguised as a Muslim civil liberties organization. CAIR was created through the Hamas front group, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). Iftikhar has also served as the executive director and communications director for the St. Louis chapter of CAIR. When he attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis as a young man, Iftikhar was active in the Muslim Students’ Association campus group. In late 2002, he was a featured speaker, along with various anti-American and anti-Jewish radicals, at the 39th Annual Continental Conference hosted by the Muslim Students’ Association, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the Muslim Youth of North America (MYNA).
