* Proceeding from the premise that the greenhouses gases associated with human industrial activity are major contributors to potentially catastrophic global warming, CHC Chairwoman Michelle Lujan Grisham declared in April 2017 that “addressing climate change” would be a vital step to take “for the health of our families and planet.” “Hispanics,” she added, “are among the most vulnerable to extreme weather events and are more likely to suffer health issues stemming from environmental pollution.”
