* Approximately 130 people played a role in co-founding the Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) in 1996. * In the 2004 presidential election season, CAF partnered with both the Democratic Party and a number of left-wing special-interest groups in a campaign to oppose “irresponsible tax cuts.”

* In the latter part of the 2000s, CAF endorsed “Invest in America,” an anti-tax-cut statement that called for increased public spending on infrastructure and education.
