WORSE THAN WATERGATE
The Illegal War for Oil in Iraq
The latest memo “found” mid-May in the Swiss company Cotecna’s archives (search: Cotecna) clearly shows UN Secretary General Kofi Annan knew about contract negotiations with the Iraq Oil for Food program “monitor” who went on to oversee the massively corrupt program. The memo from Michael Wilson, then a vice president of Cotecna Inspections S.A., mentions brief discussions Wilson had with Annan "and his entourage" at a summit in Paris in 1998 about Cotecna's bid for a $10 million-a-year contract to oversee oil-for-food.
This contradicts Annan’s earlier claim that he had no foreknowledge of Cotecna’s bid and raises the possibility of a top level UN cover-up which some commentators say is far worse than Watergate. UN officials say they are “urgently reviewing” the memo.
Prior to the bombshell release of this latest memo, Annan had claimed no knowledge of son Kojo Annan’s lucrative no-show contract with Cotecna and stated his son had “intentionally deceived” the elder Annan.
Michael Wilson, a lifelong friend of Kofi Annan, was one of Kojo Annan’s "supervisors."
Since Kofi Annan had earlier claimed to have no prior knowledge of the contract, it is now clear that the illegal war for oil in Iraq waged by France, Russia, Germany, the UN and hordes of journalists and politicians on the payroll of Iraqi genocidal socialist dictator Saddam Hussein has now been matched by a high level Watergate-style UN cover-up of their illegal and corrupt corporate payoffs--but by following the money we can see that it goes right to the top.
The memo, being called a "smoking gun" by some, is dated December 4, 1998, a week before Cotecna won the $10 million per year U.N. contract.
This calls for some analysis: I have carefully studied how “real” journalists write this stuff... so here goes.
One long-time analyst who asked not to be identified said, “The UN’s propaganda war was being fought for the illegal corporate greed and obscene profiteering of UN officials in the Oil for Food Program. This is an illegal undeclared war fought in violation of international law.”
Leaflets distributed on at least one college campus after this latest revelation read: “Kofi lied, 300,000 died. Americans must rise up and say no to the UN’s illegal war for oil in Iraq. UN hands off! Let the Iraqi people live!
“Thank God for the hundreds of thousands of rebellious young Americans in uniform who dared take a bold and courageous moral stand against the pseudo-intellectual academic Marxist establishment. They are risking their lives and suffering the ridicule of professors, journalists and Democrat politicians to say no to the corrupt and amoral UN war profiteers standing in the way of the liberation of Iraq and the establishment of democracy in the Mid-East. Soon we will recognize them and anti-war leaders such as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld as having saved the soul of our great nation from those who would have traded our democratic birthright for a few more barrels of Saddam’s crude.”
In the early New York dawn, eerie apparitions of ghostly moving vans can almost be seen circling UN headquarters.
Politics truly is the opposite of what the mainstream media would have you believe.

As I sit contemplating the insanity that allows the same leftist brain to preach that the United States is caught up in a quagmire war against a non-existent threat in Iraq, I find myself recalling prominent leftists stating that we deserved the Sept. 11th attacks for our harsh treatment of Iraq. These same leftists hiss at any idea that the Iraq war is in response to 9-11.
Are all leftist views self-contradictory, or just the ones they espouse?
