Juan Cole Publishes His Articles on Iraqi Ba'athist Pro-Terror Web SIte
Old Juan Cole was the focus of several articles on Frontpage Magazine a while back. In particular, Cole's political biases were reviewed, along with his attacks on serious Middle East scholars, his belief in nutty conspiracy theories, his defense of the Hizbollah, has hatred of Israel, and his opposition to the anti-terror campaign of the Bush Administration. We also noted the bizarre set of web sites on which Cole chooses to publish his views, including the pro-terror neofascist web site of Justin Raimondo, antiwar.com. Cole is fanatically anti-Zionist, and used to run the biased agitprop advocacy group, "Middle East Studies Association." Cole responded to the article by complaining about being "smeared" ,while at the same time repeating lies he accepted at face value from his comrade Raimondo, a gentleman who claims that Jews and not bin Laden really knocked down the World Trade Center.
Cole sees nothing wrong with publishing his "ideas" on Raimondo's web site, nor with linking his own web site to that of chronicly-unemployed New Mexico neonazi Kurt Nimmo, another promoter of "Dem Joos Knocked Down the WTC" theories, on Cole's list of recommended "academic" web logs by the way.
Now it seems that Cole has begun publishing his articles on Uruknet, the web site of Iraqi Ba'athists, yes - the sorts who lop off the heads of Western civilians they capture in Fallujah and elsewhere. Uruknet nominally operates as an Italian web site ,with a front man having an Italian-sounding name. If you believe it is Italian, I have no doubt you are convinced the Comintern was always just an independent pro-peace activist and debating society. A fast glance at Uruknet shows that it is full of toady articles singing the praises of "Our Dear Leader Presdient Saddam Hussein," similar demonstrations of servile obedience to Saddam, and open endorsement of terror against Westerners in Iraq.
Among the postings by The Juan And Only on this "We Love Darling Saddam" web site is one in which he recites all the recent terrorist victories by the Ba'athists in Iraq against Wetsern forces. In another Cole denounces US bombing of terrorist pockets inside Baghdad for his Ba'athist readers. In another Cole gives credence to the same conspiracy theories that caused the death of David Kelly when the BBC repeated them and later retracted them. Bush himself fabricated and distorted intelligence reports, insists Cole. In yet another piece he insists that more Iraqi civilians are being murdered by the US and its allies than by Iraqi insurgents.
And in yet another, Cole asks what America would be like if it were like Iraq. (We wonder what the Middle East Studies Association would be like if it were to become and academic research association.) Cole writes there, "What if 3,300 Americans had died in car bombings, grenade and rocket attacks, machine gun spray, and aerial bombardment in the last week? That is a number greater than the deaths on September 11, and if America were Iraq, it would be an ongoing, weekly or monthly toll."
Now we find this all very touching but should note that the Arab terrorists against Israel that Cole so enthusiastically supports have murdered, just since the signing of the Oslo Accords, the proportional population equivalent of about 25 September 11ths! We are still waiting for Cole to endorse Israel's right to defend its civilians from these murderers. A condemnation of terror or two of th eterror by Cole might also be nice.
We counted about 20 entries in all on Uruknet in which Cole's learned opinions were published. We have no doubt that they are being read there by Saddam's terrorists, who are getting aid and comform from them galore.

"If America were Iraq, What would it be Like?" Asks Ole' King Juan Cole, was a merry ole soul.....(hee hee! I got it)
Frankly, it's his ilk that truly needs to concern themselves with that question, and I truly believe they know it!
If America is hit again, on our soil by the sons of mahound, I honestly believe the majority of Americans will want, Syria, and Iran taken down, just like Iraq.
I believe the only way the above would come to fruition is by a rogue terrorist cell. The terrorist leadership would rather fight it out in Iraq, and hope the left in America gets their way, and our heroes are withdrawn.
Amazing how academic institutions fund and support and champion these fools who are just a hair breadth away from sedition - its the hate your best self and hate America crowd, folks, and thank you Steve for the exposure of the close up look. Good to see. Rats tend to slink away in the light.

If America were more like Iraq, Jun Cole would most likely be the Minister of Information.
Or he'd be dead.
You are an idiot. Juan Cole speaks most Middle Eastern languages... Arabic included...and he is also a professor. What are you?
As far as antiwar.com being "neofascist"? Give me a break! antiwar.com is definitely one of the best sites covering middle eastern conflicts. You just can't handle the truth... Israel is 95% of the reason we have problems. The Zionists are liars and murderers. Until the apartheid in Palestine stops, the war will not end. All of our problems with terrorism would end if we disciplined the Ariel Sharon Israeli government.
About Me, says nascarblue,
I was born in a barrel of monkeys.
I've got those crazy looking run away bride eyes.
I been shot in my BUTT with two Colt 45s.
I been slapped by a bear and bit by an eel,
I chew up railroad iron and CRAP out steel.
I jumped in the ocean and swallowed to much salt water,
Handcuffed lightnin' and throwed thunder's BUTT in jail.
I put fear in a gorilla and took the sting from a bee.
You got to be a ignorant, ignorant m!@#$%^&*()r to f&*k with me.
I'm the one that caught a star that was travellin a million miles a minute.--Hmmm! That would make you "slow," since light travels 186,000 miles per second
