The Latest Palestinian Exercise in Science Fiction
The Palestinians have come up with yet another in their series of science fiction lunatic "news stories". You know, kind of how the Jews poison wells, drink gentile blood for Passover, and intentionally give Arabs AIDS. During the Arafat regime, Arafat, his billionaire wife Suha, and the Palestinian media frequently accused Israel of using “radioactive weapons” against the Palestinians such as “uranium artillery shells” and “uranium bullets,” as well as “poison gas.”
The latest nonsense "theory" is that Israelis are operating a mysterious "death ray machine" weapon taken right out of a Star Trek re-run, and they are using it to zap poor Palestinians with radiation. This comic book "theory" was repeated twice over the past couple of days by the PLO's official media, including the "Palestinian state television" operating out of Gaza. It claimed that mysterious Israeli machines were responsible for killing a 55-year-old woman at the Gaza checkpoint in Rafah; she supposedly died of a heart attack after she was searched with the American-made device. A cartoon depicting the Israelis poisoning Palestinians with radiation also appeared in Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda, owned and controlled by the faction of Mahmoud Abbas, the supposedly "moderate" PLO chairman and head of the Palestinian Authority. The cartoon depicts a hand with a Jewish star on its sleeve, holding a red-colored machine labeled “Rafah crossing” from which "waves" are emitted labeled “death and illness.”
The device in question, according to Israeli security officials, is actually the SafeView Millimeter Wave Radar - an American manufactured "advanced portal using millimeter wave holographic technology to screen passengers forweapons and explosives."
But in the "Palestinian mind," all that was missing was the kryptonite!

Sadly, this stuff is de riguer for the Palestinians, the self-invented people who more and more sound like they are aliens from an irrational planet. (On that planet, djinnis run wild and men routinely take 9 year old girls as wives). This silly stuff is not far afield from leftist talking points about conservatives making kids starve or Republicans repealing the Civil Rights Act. They do this because the only way to explain their own failures is to crow that some secret conspiracy kept them down. Thus the leftists hate the system; black racists blame Whitey; and Islamists blame either the Joos or the Great Satan. Blaming people spares them from painful self-examination.
The PA just needs to outfit its people with the correct gear. I find that wrapping my neck in tin foil and duct-taping a kitchen colander on my head affords excellent protection against mind control rays.
