Convicted Rap Attempted Murderer Taught as Legal Authority at Syracuse U

In the spring issue of City Journal, Katherine Ernst exposes the latest epitome of academic moonbathood. Professor Greg Thomas of Syracuse University English is known on campus as the grand pedagogical poo-bah of “Hip-Hop Eshu: Queen B@#$H 101.” Really. That gobbledy-gook you just read is actually the "lyrics" from a rap "song" by one "Lil’ Kim" (originally Kimberly Jones). I know I would ground my kids for life if they listened to it while I was within earshot.

Here is a silent sample of Lil' Kim's deepest "thoughts" (from her 2000 hit song, “How Many Licks?”):

"12 A.M. I’m on the way to the club After three bottles I’ll be ready to f--k Some niggaz even put me on their grocery lists Right next to the whip cream and box of chocolates Designer p---y, my s--t come in flavors High-class taste niggaz got to spend paper Lick it right the first time or you gotta do it over Like it’s rehearsal for a Tootsie commercial."

Now professor Greg, when he himself is not being featured on "Word on Da Streets", a rap "music" news blog, is trying to build an academic career out of writing about sex in literature, and is author of such diatribes as "Bourgeois Cancer vs. Revolutionary Love: Elaine Brown's A Taste of Power Revisited." I know I am going to rush out and get MY copy! He is also editor of an ultra-moonbat pseudo-academic journal called ProudFlesh, which calls itself an "Afrikan (sic) Journal of Culture, Politics and Consciousness," and which promotes Afrofascism and support for violence. Its editorial board is a wonderful list of pseduo- "academics" whose courses should be avoided even at the risk of one's life. The journal is so academic that it dedicates itself to convicted black Marxist murderer George Jackson, and also promotes the "Michael Lewis Defense Fund," operated by ex-Black Panther Elaine Brown.

Now Professor Greg has decided to impose the Noisy Kim not only on English students at Syracuse but also in a pseudo-law course. (Don't ask what an English prof is doing sounding off in class about law!) The New York Post has reported that Thomas will soon be “teaching a course . . . analyzing Kim’s lyrics on the American judicial system” in the wake of her legal troubles. It seems that three members of her entourage were arrested and charged with attempted murder, after a shooting in New York. The trio, including Lil' Kim's cousin Lil' Cease, were arrested after 15 shots were reportedly fired, leaving the victim, Michael Goody, in hospital with a bullet wound to the leg. Two 9mm handguns found in a car said to have been used in the shooting are reported to have been registered to Lil' Kim.

Li'l Kim was then charged with one count of conspiracy, three counts of perjury, three counts of making false statements ,and one count of obstruction, and was partially convicted.

I'm still waiting for the much ballyhooed (and rapped about) race war of 1992 to start. You know, where blacks were supposed to hide along major roads and kill white drivers with sniper fire.

I guess they figured out white people have more guns and called the whole thing off.

Perhaps we should enjoin Rev. Al Sharpton and Sista Souljah to head up an army of crack-addicted commandos to drop into North Korea to burn down their liquor stores.
