Who is S.S.M.?
As David Horowitz notes in a blog entry this morning, Soros hatchet man David Brock appears to have given the Horowitz beat to a writer whose byline appears only in the cryptic form, "SSM." In general, Brock's writers identify themselves by initials rather than names, probably for much the same reason that medieval executioners donned hooded masks before lopping off someone's head. Even a vague and ineffective gesture at anonymity helps ease a troubled conscience.
In the case of Brock's crew, the gesture is ineffective in the extreme. In order to figure out who wrote one of Brock's hit pieces, one need only betake oneself to the "About" page, where a presumably comprehensive list of Brock's ever-growing stable of "talent" appears, complete with full names and mini-bios. The only name in the list which appears to match the initials SSM would be Simon Maloy, whose bio states:
"Simon Maloy most recently worked for Kaplan Higher Education Online in New York as an editorial intern. He has been published in The Raw Story, a progressive news website. Maloy holds a bachelor's degree in history from Williams College and is a member of the Research Department at Media Matters for America."Mr. Maloy's rather lackluster credentials suggest that Mr. Brock has not yet seen fit to set a high priority on Operation Stop Horowitz. It's almost embarrassing.

Only a commie liberal would be a yankees fan. just like the yankees tried to buy a world series ring the democrats tried to buy a presidency with their bleeding-heart liberal 527's
