Soros Cash Helps Prop Up Ward Churchill

The Gustavus Myers Center has three times honored al Qaida apologist Ward Churchill for his contributions to "human rights." In a competition for one recent award, the Center granted Churchill an honorable mention for his 2003 book, On the Justice of Roosting Chickens: Reflections on the Consequences of US Imperial Arrogance and Criminality, a tome based upon Churchill's infamous essay of September 12, 2001 in which he called the nearly 3,000 civilians massacred in the World Trade Center "little Eichmanns" and "technocrats of empire" who deserved what they got.

Joel Mowbray of Investor's Business Daily reports that George Soros' Open Society Institute is a major funder of the Center, having contributed $1.3 million to it since 2000.
