Van Gosse is a history professor at Franklin & Marshall College and a frequent contributing author to the publication Radical History Review. A member of the steering committee for Historians Against the War, he also serves on the steering committee of United For Peace and Justice (UFPJ), a Communist front group headed by the longtime pro-Castro, Communist radical Leslie Cagan.
