Leslie Feinberg was the managing editor of the Workers World Party’s (WWP) newsletter, Workers World. Feinberg was also one of the world’s leading transgender activists. She ran Transgender Warrior, a website dedicated to promoting the homosexual, bisexual and transgender movement, and has written a number of books on the movement.

Feinberg was also a frequent spokesperson for International ANSWER and the International Action Center, along with comrades Brian Becker and Ramsey Clark. Both groups have been instrumental in organizing most of the largest anti-war rallies since September 11, and both include anti-American, anti-Israel coalition members that support Palestinian terrorists. Feinberg was highly active in the movement to free convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal, and also was in the vanguard of the gay marriage movement.

Su Docekal and Bob Schwartz reported on the website “Blacklight” that Feinberg addressed an anti-war rally in New York, saying, “The left wing of the gay movement stood up for the Vietnamese against the Pentagon war. We fought Cointelpro and movement sabotage by the FBI. We defended the Black Panthers . . .and [the] women’s liberation movement from murderous state attacks. This expression of unity won tremendous respect and solidarity with our movement from struggling peoples here and around the world.”

Feinberg died on November 15, 2014 in Syracuse, New York.
