In 1983 AVC set up the largest Muslim-owned commercial audiocassette duplication facility in the United States. Specializing in Qur'anic albums and other Islamic-related recordings, this facility has a production capacity of 1.2 million cassettes and CDs per year. AVC also has a large capacity for video recording, production, and graphic arts, as well as an in-house printing facility to meet the needs of ISNA and its affiliates. Many of AVC's books and audio recordings promote Wahhabism, a most extreme form of Islam.
