Sheehan Circus Meltdown

Code Pink rump-swab and owner of the new MeetWithCindy website (domain name registered on August 8th) David Swanson is now playing Medea Benjamin’s and crash-dieter Diane Wilson’s bag-man by floating a story from the Crawford Peace Center that Sheehan and the rest of the anti-U.S. protesters there will be arrested on Thursday.

What we’re now witnessing in Crawford is a gaggle of self-destructing leftists trying to make the best of what is quickly becoming for them a public relations nightmare.

Granted, the MSM is doing its best to paint Mrs. Sheehan as a victim of Bush by keeping her anti-U.S., anti-Israel, activist past and her vile, pro-terrorist statements hidden from the public. But as my great-grandmother would often say in Italian, "you can’t polish dirt." (Actually, she used a more colorful word than "dirt.")

It has taken less than two weeks for the American public to go from empathizing with Sheehan to viewing her with revulsion. Fame can be intoxicating and Sheehan is living proof that some people just can’t handle that liquor.

Now the pro-terrorist Code Pink crew that’s orchestrating the Crawford circus is trying to milk what’s left of  the Sheehan situation by publicly floating the idea of a Cindy Sheehan martyr scenario in order to gauge what the public’s reaction would be to such an event.

Trapped within the confines of their ’60s-era funhouse-mirror thought-model, the deluded leftists at Crawford seriously think that the arrest of Sheehan and her radical friends will cause a Vietnam-era-type outcry in America. 

Leftists are generally a dishonorable lot and Cindy Sheehan is their perfect poster-girl. What we’re witnessing in Crawford Texas is the true face of the American far- Left: hate-filled, unpatriotic and treasonous.

Sheehan has tried to dishonor her brave son. She has tried to dishonor her son’s Commander-in-Chief. She has tried to dishonor the U.S.

She has managed to dishonor only herself.
