“Several
Thousand” Confront Sheehan’s Moonbats

This is from the local Waco paper, the most important part is at the bottom
of the story and only gets four sentences…
"The spirit of volunteerism was also alive Saturday
among a very different crowd at the Crawford football stadium. The “You Don’t
Speak for Me, Cindy” rally in support of President Bush and the Iraq war
boasted a larger crowd than Sheehan’s, but with logistics that seemed more improvised.
"Organizer Kristinn Taylor said the group had originally expected about
1,000, but on Saturday he estimated a crowd of several thousand.
Still, the group mustered a large tent, a first aid station and rows of
portable toilets, and a group of pro-Bush firefighters from Austin served up
free brisket and sausage."
Ok that’s the important part, we outnumbered them heavily. For those of you
who remember Vietnam it was rare that the moonbats were outnumbered.
But the media (even in Waco) is doing its best…
CRAWFORD – If Napoleon was right that an army marches on
its stomach, what sustains an army fighting against war itself?
Try Asian noodle salad, chips and salsa, Calamata olives, yellow bell
peppers, giant bowls of Romaine lettuce and a half-dozen desserts.
That was just lunch at Camp Casey II. Salmon,
buffalo chili and smoked brisket were on the menu for Saturday night, when
caterers were expecting at least 1,000 diners.
A whiff of ‘60s nostalgia may hang over the antiwar protest that bereaved
war mom Cindy Sheehan has brought to President Bush’s doorstep, but this is no
Woodstock-style free-for-all.
Since the protest started as an impromptu roadside picket on August 6, an
efficient logistical system has evolved to accommodate hundreds of people on an
acre of scorching Texas prairie.
A trailer generator powers lights, along with a satellite media center and a
sound stage under a tent measuring 60 by 180 feet. Vans shuttle to and from the
Peace House in Crawford, nine miles away. Volunteers in orange vests help law
enforcement manage roadside parking.
First aid stations, staffed constantly with licensed medical personnel, aid
the overheated, and scores of volunteers help people beat the heat….
Notice how they call Sheehan anti-war and our side is pro-war. Of course
this is exactly the opposite of the truth. Sheehan is a warmonger, desperately
trying to allow the terrorists free reign to wage war on the Iraqi people. Our
troops are the real peace demonstrators. Every day they go out and tell the
terrorists to "stop bombing Iraq."
And they don’t get smoked salmon in their MREs.
