MoveOn Rallies to Denounce Bush's 'Outrageous Plan' By Ivy J. Sellers January 11, 2007 In step with Democratic leadership who have announced they'll do all they can to thwart President Bush's plans in Iraq, the left-wing loonies over at MoveOn.org are plotting "Emergency Rallies to Stop Escalation in Iraq" across the country. "We’ll get together and use signs and leaflets to make sure the rest of the community knows about Bush’s outrageous plan," said MoveOn's organizers on their website. The thing is, the President's "outrageous plan" was announced on national television. It's not like it's some deep, dark secret. In fact, you can read the entire plan on HumanEvents.com's homepage this very minute. Moveon is also circuating a petition that reads, "Congress must act to block Bush's escalation in Iraq. We need a responsible end to the war, not an escalation." So here's my question: which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Who's leading who? Who comes up with the talking points first? Democratic leadership or their looney support team? |
